What We Do — and What We Don't

Last updated: [19/05/2026]

Most platforms hide their boundaries. We'd rather you know exactly where ours are before you rely on us.

What we do

  • Structure your mandate through intelligent intake.
  • Continuously evaluate it against the network for aligned counterparties.
  • Protect identity on both sides until mutual consent (EOI approval).
  • Verify the identity of advisors through KYC.
  • Give you the rationale behind every match so you can judge it yourself.

What we don't do — read this before your first EOI

We don't guarantee matches or timelines. Matching depends on what exists in the network for your sector, size, and geography. Some mandates match in days; some take longer; some may not find alignment. Your mandate stays active and is re-evaluated as the network grows — but a registered mandate is not a promised match.

We verify identity, not claims. KYC confirms an advisor is who they say they are. It does not verify revenue figures, deal details, client authorisation, or any business claim a counterparty makes. Diligence is your job, exactly as it would be with an introduction from your own network.

We are not part of your deal. DealCollab is not a broker, advisor, valuer, or representative. We don't negotiate, don't conduct diligence, don't handle funds, don't paper transactions, and don't charge success fees. After an approved EOI, everything that follows is between you and the counterparty, on your judgment and your terms.

AI can misread a mandate. The intake assistant is good, not infallible. If a match rationale looks off, your mandate probably needs a correction — edit it and matching re-runs. Match rationale is indicative, never a recommendation to transact.

Notifications are in-app for now. Email and WhatsApp delivery are planned but not live. Check your Deal Dashboard.

We don't police deal ownership. If two advisors submit the same deal, we may flag the similarity internally, but exclusivity and representation rights are between advisors and their clients. We stay neutral.

We are not a regulated financial intermediary. DealCollab provides discovery infrastructure only — no brokerage, advisory, valuation, or investment services. For jurisdiction-specific regulatory questions, contact us directly.

Why we publish this

You're being asked to trust a platform with confidential mandates. That trust should be based on what we actually do — not on what a marketing page implies. If any behavior of the platform ever contradicts this page, tell us: [letsconnect@dealzebra.io]. We treat that as a bug.
